Gideon Media Arts Conference

It's not too late to register for the Gideon Media Arts Conference, especially if you live in the Eastern US. While it covers many aspects of media (workshops will include film, novels, and digital media) Ken Raney, Roland Mann, and I will be sharing workshops about creating comics. So not only can you learn from a very experienced editor and writer and a highly skilled artist and perhaps maybe even get something from me . . . but you will get the chance to network with many Christian creatives like yourself! In the years I have gone, I have made new and lasting friendships, mete collaborators, and I actually picked up my primary freelance job provider for the last two years! And, for me, staying in the incredible resort-like center in the mountains, away from my family, has made it something of a writer's retreat. I recommend checking it out. You don't have to go for the entire time -- reduced rates are available, I believe, if you want to come for just a couple days.
