Come to our tournament on Chicago's north side to play Redemption, the Christian Strategy Card Game!
Redemption is a Christian Collectible Card Game (CCG) alternative to Magic the Gathering or Yu-Gi-Oh. Players use Heroes from the Bible (Moses, Daniel, etc) to rescue Lost Souls that your opponent's Evil Characters (Goliath, Judas, etc) attempt to guard. Each card contains a Bible verse providing context for the particular card and helping players understand more about how a person, event, or object is relevant in the Bible.
Who Should Play Redemption? People of all ages who like Strategy, Fun and Fellowship. Typical players range from ages 8 to 50.
What to Bring? We have card decks you can borrow if you don't have your own yet. Experienced players are welcome to bring their own decks (sleeved, type 1).
Agenda:
9am-9:45am Players sign in and review game/tournament rules.
10am-10:45am Game round 1.
11am-11:45am Game round 2.
12pm-12:45pm Game round 3.
1pm-1:30pm Award prizes (Cactus Game Design will provide prizes).
Location is best accessed by CTA Red Line (Granville stop) or CTA bus #147 or 151.
Cost: Free, plus light refreshments will be provided!
