This promo trailer was cut together for the in progress graphic novel, The Reluctant Prophet, an adaptation of the biblical account of Jonah.What would you do to have things go your way? If truth opposed you, would you fight it? If mercy a barrier, could you breach it if you thought it meant grabbing hold of your deepest desire? Most importantly, Can God’s purpose of grace be frustrated by one person’s rebellion? These are the questions the characters wrestle with throughout the exciting adventure, and tense study on rebellion and mercy. Called by God to preach to Nineveh, a brutal, perverse city and enemy to Israel; A headstrong servant of God, who is wholly devoted to his homeland Israel, responds to God’s call by fleeing in the opposite direction. The runaway prophet will set in motion a bizarre series of events that will forever change his life, the lives of others, and subsequently reveal to us all sobering insight into human nature and God’s response to it. The graphic novel culminates with profound biblical truths on the attributes of a very real and personal God, who desires to save the perishing.I am currently praying and seeking a publisher interested in signing on this project.
