Sketching turns Drawing

Well What was intended to be a Sketch of a monster type for my comic became a full drawing instead. I would have to say that I love when you intend to just make a quick sketch to pull an idea out of your head and then it mutates. All of a sudden inspiration hits and BAM a piece of art comes out.

I didn't get a scan of the pencils I just kept going.

  • Great concept!

  • Ya this is going to be a lurker, they hide in the shadows and jump from shadow to shadow, the "hound dogs" of the world I created. They are used to keep the Hollow in line and sent out to catch stragglers.  If the light comes they cover themselves with rocks so they can try to hide/use it for armor and weapons.

  • Nice.  I've done that with writing before, just got inspired and ran with it until all the creativity stopped.  Very cool.  It reminds me of the angels in the Bible described as having eyes all over their bodies.  When some of their order fell its interesting to imagine what they look like in their corrupted form and this is a very close possbility.  If you're interested, I'm working on a superhero animated series, very early stages of concept art production but I'm always looking for new artists who liked to collborate. www.redemptiontheseries.com  I'm looking for artists of all kinds, and while I don't have a spot for demon concept artist, after seeing your work I realize I could use one lol.  In any case, great work and many blessings.
