CHRISTIAN COMIC ARTS SOCIETY :: A NETWORK OF CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP FOR COMICS FANS, PROS, AND AMATEURS

Progress for the week

This was took longer than I anticipated, and I couldn't get the images to line up, so still working out the kinks in the scanning process.

  • Nice layouts keep it up.

  • Super engaging and dynamic! Nice handling of difficult body positions and proportions, weapons and uniforms. Haircuts prove vital to keeping characters straight.

If this could be done without flipping the perspective front-to-back. it would aid in clarity.

*My eye starts at the top-left, goes to the top right...then goes to the dynamic center figures; great stuff! But then my eye pauses, wanders to the right and sees that the fore-ground figure has lost his pistol but I can't see why. Then I go to the bottom figures, completely skipping the single figure at center left so I hope he's not vital to the plot.

Because of the close proximity of the two fighters, I would suggest not having them fire their weapons. They could be jockying for a clean shot and not getting it; there seams to be plenty of action without the gun blasts.

    Definitely eye-catching work.

  • I like the action, but it seems repetitive. Maybe cut it down or expand it to 2 pages if you think all moves are necessary.
