CHRISTIAN COMIC ARTS SOCIETY :: A NETWORK OF CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP FOR COMICS FANS, PROS, AND AMATEURS

playing with some color concepts i been wanting to get around to;
those hi-lite shapes are placeholders, obviously. there's no way i'd ever finish the story if i were to color these with the pen tool,
but i'm not looking to be the colorist either. maybe after i come across some new tools, but i don't think i'll ever switch completely to digi. might play with cutting sketch paper and newsprint down to printer size and try some diff media for color on it, but again, i'll never finish the story if i do it all like that.
also still finding my lines with these Microns and wavering back to the Zebra; and i'm also just flat out having trouble in general struggling with the anatomy in these perspectives cuz... well, cuz i'm not all that great at it haha no turning back tho!
gonna give him his own page shortly
ugh, and this bleedy paper...
and i left that Phlyp up in the corner heehee hawhaw i'm going to bed ;P :) ;P :) ;P3448617408?profile=original

  • thanks Brien, that's encouraging! worship has actually been pretty deep lately, and i'll be posting some new cuts pretty soon too, if i didn't just lose all my files :( my pc won't recognize my external drive for some reason. thanks for asking, it's a pretty big part of what i do and i don't get to talk about it much. (i'm not around adults much haha) having alot of trouble with YT video editor as well, so our most recent post is really not what i WANT it to be, and the next one will be sub-par too, that's if i can even finish it, i've always found it to be prohibitively difficult, unreasonably failure-prone, to do these things that seem easy for everyone else.
    if i cross your mind, pray for me, life is beating me down pretty solid lately and it's hard to see His hand in this storm!
    on the subject of ink lines tho, the Microns just bleeeeed, and keep bleeding on this paper haha
    the day, the VERY DAY that i decide to stick with ballpoint for my fine lines, i lose the Zebra-
    like, i haven't lost a Zebra since highschool when we'd take them apart for pipes!
    i'll post the barbarian i did last nite with the old Roundstic Medium, i just keep going back to ballpoint, i can't do my thing with anything else it seems!

  •    Nice ink lines, the practice you've put in so far shows, and you've got a good eye for dramatic characters.

    How's the Worship at Shiloh House of Hope doing?
