Looking for Submissions for 2009 CCAS Sketchbook

Looking for Art Submission for the 2009Christian Comic Arts Society SketchbookThe CCAS is compiling a sketchbook to be used as a fund raiser that will be sold at conventions and online. The CCAS is looking for submissions from Christian artists to be featured in the book.All submissions will be reviewed by a CCAS selection committee. Selected artists will not only be included in the sketchbook, but will receive one free copy of the book. As a service for each contributing artist, contact information will be included in the book. Contributing artists, please include a Scripture that will appear with the illustration.The sketchbook will be produced as a black and white ashcan. Artists interested in submitting their work can contact Ralph Miley at ralphellismiley@verizon.net for further details. Please include any contact information with your submission.

You mentioned a scripture verse. Does the artwork have to be themed with the verse? Do you prefer artwork with a verse or is without ok?

Hi there. I just have a few questions.

Does the sketches require to have some spirituality in them? I have a few pieces of art to show but they don't have anything spiritual in them nor do they have anything that is anti-Christian.

Will this sketchbook be in print? How will they be released?

I better send you the files in jpeg first.

This is a great idea. I hope you get lots of awesome submissions. This book could be a great witnessing tool to our fellow comic artist peers of other beliefs as well as just a place for every Christian submitter to showcase their God given talent. I pray God will be all over and in this book by His Holy Spirit so that when anyone picks it up they will know that this book is special.
