Last year I graduated with a VC.

I just put up a 3d mirror picture and I bet the way I commented on that sounded utterly conceited.  Therefore, I'm making this blog post as somewhat of an apologetic toward that.  Last year, by the LORD's great grace and some teachers just wanting me to graduate, I walked the aisle with triple digit class credits.  It's amazing how long you can stay in college without obtaining a degree when you don't follow the planning sheet precisely.

Graduation was mercy and grace.  I am probably over educated by most standards, but the appearance on a resume is probably under educated.  I am telling you, God is so very merciful.  I have the time in higher education of an MA or Dr, especially when military schools are factored in, but I have only an AS.  Wow... just Wow.  And if not for God, I wouldn't have the AS.

Anyhow, the 3d stuff isn't anything... because I've seen so much better.  No matter how good my stuff could be, it's not going to compare to some guru who lives and breathes it on LinkedIn or DeviantArt or even my University.  I studied from scriptwriting through special effects and into deployment of user interactive experiences, and because of that I can see so very many places I am not...

I'm learning brush... because I need to and want to.  Yet, if any 3D stuff is uploaded that looks impressive, it's not... not really.

  • Not to worry about your capabilities, your VC is not the end of your learning but the beginning. May our Lord grant you a series of jobs that mold you step-by-step to the Son he wants you to be.

Congratulations on your determination and persistence in getting that degree. Let the fireworks begin!
