I'm glad Christmas is over this year

Boy am I glad Christmas is over this year. Ever since this month started we've just been so hectic and busy, plus their has been a lot of tragedy around here lately. First my Grandpa passed away and my sister, her husband Harvey, and their daughters Teagan and Tresley, all of whom were living with Grandpa before he died, may be out of that house any day now because of the reverse mortgage on that house and also because of Grandpas' stupid son George wants everything in that house including stuff my sister and husband and kids might when they move into their trailer house, which needs alot of work. And last week a friend of my mothers', Amy Raney, was murdered somewhere outside of Sweetwater in her parents driveway by her own husband. She was shot twice in the head and chest, then the husband killed himself. I think he killed her because she was about to divorce him probably because he was alcoholic. They left behind 2 boys one 6 and other 9 will be having a sad Christmas this year. And on Christmas Eve Mrs. Abrigo, who was the mother of our neighbor Juanita Abrigo, passed away. For some reason there has been alot of tragedy this year. For a time of year that should be about good times and cheer, there's been a great deal of sadness around here. That's why I'm glad Christmas is over. Maybe next year things will be a bit better. Next year, we're planning to spend Christmas in Ruidoso, New Mexico. On a lighter note, Christmas was fairly decent, though my mom got on mine and dads nerves a couple of times. I got a new pocket knife, a new cowboy hat, a new multi-tool and a new pair of Jeans. I got Amber some leg warmers. I got Harvey a game for his X Box called Rainbow Six. And their girls got a Wow Wow Wubzy movie and some pink plastic totes with costumes in it. I'll have to get some pictures of those. I got my dad a gun cleaning kit for his guns and I got my mom a sewing book.
