Hi friends-- I sort of stumbled on this site while I was looking around on the internet. I'm a long time comic fan, and worked at a comic book shop for three years. I accepted Christ when I was a kid, went through the requisite crazy time in college and through a series of God-directed events ended up back in close relationship with the Lord, eventually joined staff with Campus Crusade for Christ and just accepted my first book deal, for a book that should be coming out in Fall of 2010. Pretty excited about that, of course. I'm talking with my editors about possibly doing a cover contest for the book (this isn't a little publisher... it's one of the big ones) and they're open to the idea. That's how I found the site, honestly, I was wondering if there was a cadre of Christian comic artists hiding out somewhere. Now I know!Anyway, more details as I have them... I suppose it will probably be a while if they decide to go through with it. No promises have been made, of course, and I'm a bit of a neophyte on how that part of the industry works. But I'll keep you in the loop.Matt
