Favorite comics

I'm wondering, what are all your favorite comics? (Manga is included.)

I like one called "Final Fantasy Type-0 side story: The Ice Reaper" Aside from the occasional uneeded comment and the mini-skirts, (Which I fixed. You gotta love ballpoint pens) It was really good.

  • Hands down...the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man of course!!! I was looking through the comics that my mom sent me years ago from my childhood (what was left of them anyway...which is still a pretty good amount), and I realized I predominately purchased Spider-Man compared to other heroes. Both my daughter and son (11 & 9) are now enjoying the same comics I read at their age and is such a joy to watch! Watching them is part of my rekindled passion for comics...now desiring to make my own for God's glory, both give me a sense of purpose and motivation!!!

  • I really enjoyed the first three editions of Planetes by Makoto Yukimura; and I must have over 35 editions of Usagi Yojimbo by Stan Sakai. Probably my favorite over the past two years would be Endtown webcomic  by Aaron Neathery, http://www.gocomics.com/endtown/

  • I haven't bought a new comic for quite some time. Just starting to again. My traditional favorites:

Batman, Spiderman, Fantastic Four, Power Pack, Elf Quest, Uncle Scrooge, Richie Rich, and Casper, Hot Stuff, and the original Smurf comics by Peyo. I also liked Jim David/Garfield for strips.

New favorites: Bone, HeroBear and the Kid
