Designing Armor

I have yet to design the spiritual armor of my characters. This is going to be a MAJOR challenge in that I want to reflect each character in their unique armor of God. I had an armor design a few years ago but after watching Saint Seiya I scrapped the designs I made because they looked too similar...(/__\)’ and now I have to redo everything. Ever hit that wall before fam?

  • Yeah I suppose I can stick with my design but tweak it a little. Armor is hard to draw, so I may have to find a way to make a movable model, any ideas??

  • I think if you like your original design then stay with it, even if it is similar to other designs. God knows what is authentic or not.

  • I find armour tricky to design, I usually end up using reference and then tweaking stuff. I pretty much struggle with drawing anything man-made, come to think of it.
  • I can't remember which of my characters it was, but it was devastating.
