A few months ago I quite literally stumble upon this site and since then my perspective on art and how to do it has changed, for the better. I was, honestly, heading toward a low point, creatively. I have gained a lot of artistic direction and wisdom from this man's podcasts and I haven't even listened to half of them yet. He is a concept artist (former Visual development artist at Disney) and he focuses more so on digital creation, but a lot of his advice is applicable to all creatives. He also does in-depth interviews and co-ops with other artists in the info sharing. Also, signing up for his e-mail newsletter -which I think is sent out 2x a month- he shares other things not mentioned in his podcats (or nothing I've yet to hear heavily repeated).

Oh and if you're looking for some artistic encouragement I'd start with the following Art Casts (they are some of my favs, too!):
the very first ArtCast, #11, 28, 48, 55, 60, 65
And the Paper Wings podcats (PWP) are heavy in comic book focus.
Grace & Peace!

Amen to this! I've listened to a number of his PaperWings podcasts; they're both interesting and instructional. I will definitely check out the ArtCasts.
