What a blessing this is! At the start of the year myself and a friend started Extra Sequential, a free on-line mag all about comics. After 3 issues we were picked up by Arcana Comics from Canada. For the last few months we've been working on the transition of ES to print, and it's now arrived! Well, sort of. Arcana magazine is a full colour quarterly and is featured in November's Previews catalogue, for January shipping products. Go to Page 184 and you'll see it. It's only $3.50US for a full colour 96 page mag. We have interviews with David Mack, Josh Medors, Chip Mosher (marketing guy from BOOM! Studios), Marv Wolfman, Edmund Shern and Star Wars: Invasion writer Tom Taylor. There's also a look at The Death of Superman, an article on music and comics, and so much more. Plus, it looks pretty good! Be aware that there is the occasional use of mild profanity in some interviews (!), and it is tailored for mature comic readers as well as newbies to the wonders of sequential art.
