Graphic design - cartooning - sequential art - mixed mediaMy name is Mary Goglia. I am currently attending college for an Associates Degree in Graphic Design. Afterwards, I will go for my bachelor's in graphic design.I have always been interested in different art mediums since I was old enough to hold a pencil. I love to draw from the places and people around me, but what I mostly enjoy drawing are ideas from my imagination. I am interested in and create artworks in multiple mediums: cartooning, graphic design, and sequential art. I work in mixed media as well.I am open to work in the comic industry, the graphic design industry, or any other art position that is needed and available. Please note for comic book work:I will only work on a comic or cartoon if it is appropriate for all ages or pg rated the highest.I do not approve of creating inappropriate and possibly offensive artwork.Additional information:I am Roman Catholic. My reading interest ranges from science fiction and fantasy to mystery and thriller.I am in between when it comes to politics, some viewpoints I agree with conservatives and some viewpoints I also agree with liberals. I apologize if me mentioning this is considered offensive or anything, I am only stating this so everyone can have a better picture of where I stand.Walt Disney is one of the motivational figures that I look up to. The accomplishments that he has done and the ability of creating moral messages through his works are the qualities that inspires me as an artist, creative thinker, and an individual. I want to create positive, moral messages through my artwork and all that I do in my life.Archie Comics is another inspiration for me. Archie Comics has created wholesome, family entertainment for years and continues to do so. I look up to and respect this company of continuing to maintain their tradition of creating comics for all ages and having the ability to inspire the next generation of creative individuals through the engaging, thought-provoking, and immersive art form of sequential art.
