weird dream # ...

let's see if I remember this ... oh, yeah, I was looking for a job; someone suggested I try for a fee-lance tutoring job; but, meanwhile, someone with a garage wanted me to quiz, grade and tutor his mechanics, et c. I had to walk a long ways to look for work. I started as something else ....I've had weirder dreams - but on the other hand, I know nothing about automechanical operations ..and don't know why I first had to try for one kind of tutoring job, when ones with regualr hours/pay were available ...

  • one of my weirdest dreams yet : I was a 77/8 year old Black reporter, covering local intertainment ...more on this later.
  • One recent dream is a variation of the "fear of eviction" type : in this one, my mother had stuff stored in a warehouse/storage space behind a hardwear store, and there was a fire ...then, I moved to two apartments (which had appeared in two other dreams ) ... my brother had power of atourney for my grandmother ( who in reality had died last month ) & was executor for my grandfather .... very confusing ...then it turned out my gf owned the building where the store/storage were ...
Another dream consisted of training people to do security ( private and national ) for umm ... the US, Russia, Mexico, England and Argentina ...maybe one other nation. Then it turned out I and some of my students were wizards ... I've had a few variations of that sort of dream ( the wizard part, I mean ).
Another had to do with getting people to read a language I'm working on... for science fiction...
  • But I've also dreampt of fighting in Vietnam ...Being on Patrole - at point - in WWII .... trying to rescue a downed pilote....leading civilians to safety on an Airforce base in England ...
  • I don't believe in Interpreting dreams : most have no meaning, some mean you ate the wrong thing, some mean you need the bathroom, a few deal with daily struggles, but not in a realistic way.
There are prophetic dreams : I've had a few ...
  • One or two authors published "dream dictionaries" back in the seventies, that were supposed to explain the symbolism in dreams. But this made no sense to me, since different people and different cultures have different symbolic meanings for a particular thing, animal or color.

Mechanics might represent some people you want to help, or something you want to do.

A few times I have dreamt about something that is going to happen, or is happening at that moment, but I don't understand it until it happens.
