Best way to blog?

I've been thinking of blogging...

Part of what has given me pause are all the blogging sites--just where the heck should I go to blog? I belong to handful of different groups, like this one, which have blog areas. My problem is that I don't want to have to blog for 10 different sites.

Is it possible to blog one place and "share" that blog with all the other areas?

I'm hoping you more experienced bloggers can help me out, here.

    Yeah...since I'm not an "artist" I don't really have art to display. :)

    I like the IDEA of RSS feeds, but not sure how to use them. Meaning, I like the idea of blogging (typing) on one spot...then having the others pick them up.
    Could we do that here? Could I snag via RSS a blog from another site?

    As long as you can get your blog link onto Temple of the Seven Golden Camels, CartoonBrew, FunnyPagesProductions, or in any huge artist blogging circle, you're good to go!

    Of course, if you don't want to specifically make a blog for displaying your portfolio, then it's out of my range of knowledge as well...
