I kept debating whether or not to use the muted tones for the flash back, but in the end it felt appropriate technique to illustrate the events are in the past. I hope it works as intended. This was a very fun page for me to do. I feel it's a lot stronger than the previous page as far as the colors go. I'm still finding my way, but all in all much happier with this page than page 5. Feedback appreciated!</p></div>page5https://my.christiancomicarts.com/photo/page52013-07-14T17:25:37.000Z2013-07-14T17:25:37.000ZNathan Lucashttps://my.christiancomicarts.com/members/NathanLucas<div><img src="https://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/3448898857?profile=RESIZE_400x&width=400"></div><div><p>So, it's been nearly 9 months since I've worked on "The Sparrow". Life gets in the way, and sometimes I talk myself out of working on personal projects because I convince myself it's pointless. But thankfully I've realized how much I missed working on it. And well, here you go Page 5, and now the Sparrow get's to do some fighting! I'm still learning a lot on every page, and it's been so long I had to re-figure out some things. My coloring techniques vary from page to page for example, so you can see some differences as I try to work it out and figure out what works best for me. I hope it's cohesive enough though to not be too distracting. As always any feedback is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks everyone! And it's great to be back at it!</p></div>ironmanhttps://my.christiancomicarts.com/photo/ironman-12013-04-05T15:24:44.000Z2013-04-05T15:24:44.000ZChristopher John LeBeauhttps://my.christiancomicarts.com/members/ChristopherJohnLeBeau<div><img src="https://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/3448880413?profile=RESIZE_400x&width=400"></div><div><p>This is a digital painting I did of Iron Man.</p></div>Deal with a Demon_LMShermanhttps://my.christiancomicarts.com/photo/deal-with-a-demon-lmsherman2013-02-20T15:28:37.000Z2013-02-20T15:28:37.000ZLeigha M. The title as of now is "The Sparrow" its a superhero tale in a fantasy setting (nerdy genre mashing) and will have Christian undertones and themes. Anyways, I would LOVE to get feedback before I start the website so let me know what you think. Feedback that does not come from friends and family will be much appreciated. I drew this on 11x17 bristol board. Inked with Illustrator and colored and lettering with Photoshop.
