37th page of my comic and the first one done with new digital art pad. It also really benefited from some lessons I received from Melchizedek Todd; thank you Mel!

I tried to reinforce Abalon's dark mood with shadows, and I like the final result.

The Church in the background is a representation of the Plaza Church in Los Angeles, completed in 1830 under the direction of a reformed pirate.

  • I like that your comic is rooted in history. The different angles in each panel helps keep what is essentially dialogue visually interesting. The purples and oranges in the sky are the first thing I noticed, and it really helps to set the mood. Great job
