I colored this for Mike Abuan, he did the line work - i'm not sure where in his repertoire, he has some really cool stuff! Check it out! Comments or Suggestions on this one would be cool.

  • GREAt stuff!!! Interested in a collab?
  • thanks for the guess...lol...i'll play with it some more.
  • You've got the glow from the sword on her right side; on her arm and leg. I would just make it more pronounced. It might lighten the contrast between her hair and skin.
I'm guessing, I really don't know anything about coloring. LOL
  • I need to give the proper credit - i guess these are characters from a Cyberlight comic, i didn't know, but now i do.
  • thanks - she did turn out more elfish than i intended, where would i add glow...i had trouble on the face because really there is only a light under neath - nothing frontal to light her up - the sword is to the back, so i wasn't sure how to make that pop, most of her face is in shadows. and for some reason i couldn't get the same tones from her arm to her face, even though it wouldn't be skin tones - i like the eirie (sp?) look it give. Anyway - thanks for the comments
  • Hmmm....maybe a little more glow effect on the girl from the sword. I see you have it shining on the ground below her; good job.
The skin tone makes me wonder how you view the girl. Do you see her as a human or an elf or half demon? Or is the skin tone reflective of the twilght setting?
These aren't critques just observations in how the color tells a story without words.
This looks way cool. You did a great job with textures and all.
