My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

I credit my parents in their commitment to introduce me to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. I remember a conversation with my dad at our house in which he lead me through a clear presentation of the Gospel and told me that when I was ready, I could "ask Jesus into my heart". I did right away. This was in elementary school. I was soon baptized and made a confession of faith. It wasn't until much later that I began to understand the true gravity of that relationship. As a teenager, I began to take ownership of my faith and truly began to participate in that relationship with Jesus. I had a heart transplant at the age of 14 which impacted my relationship with Jesus tremendously. I learned to truly rely on God for my strength and put my faith in Him as the only source of life. To this day, I continue on the journey getting to know my Savior more intimately.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

I am currently in a dream job working with students as an art teacher at a Wheaton Academy, a private Christian high school in West Chicago, IL. I love it!
