It makes me very sad to see so many people on the Internet on different sites not wanting the truth. What is truth? Some people say that there is no such thing as truth - each person has his own reality. I wonder how that would stand in court ;D Obviously it's a cop-out just to get everybody to agree or feel at home with each other and shut out the Bible.Even scientists aren't interested in the truth. And I'm not even talking about evolution or the spiritual. Nicola Tesla worked for Thomas Edison. Edison asked Tesla to design a method for distributing electricity for the light bulbs he invented. Tesla found a wireless way of distributing electricity but Edison didn't like it because it couldn't be metered. Tesla was offered US$50,000 to improve Edison's inefficient motors and generators. Later Edison said it was a joke and wouldn't even give him a raise. Tesla invented about half the current technology we use today and received nothing for it - he died in poverty. No, he wasn't a Christian, I'm just saying that scientists have their own private agendas when it comes to the truth.Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life. no-one comes to the Father except through Me." So it makes sense that non-believers will say there is no truth - they don't want to believe because they don't want to be under control of the church. I can understand that because I was in a similar situation as a believer in church. As a teenager, I had to go to Sunday school regularly. The last year of Sunday-school we did all the nitty-gritty aspects of what our church believes. First they say "Only believe what the Bible says". I was fine with that. Then they said "Everything in our church is based on the Bible" then they said "but we need to ad this and that and something else, etc." So I said "But you said only to believe the Bible, now you are adding all this other stuff" the answer was "yes, but...". So I decided I will only believe what the Bible says.Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through Me." He also said He would go away and send the Holy Spirit in His place (John 14:16). In Ephesians 2:6 Paul writes that we are in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. This is wonderful! When we accepted Jesus as our Saviour, we received the ability to be in the heavenly "dimension" in Christ Jesus! What am I trying to say here? You can ONLY get to God through Jesus - nobody else, no-matter who they claim to be or what powers they have.Jesus said "Heaven and earth may pass away, but My words shall never pass away". I believe that only God is capable of something like this, thus He is real and He spoke the truth!I want to encourage you to please study the Bible so that you can see what is from God and what is not from God. A good way to start is to read the old testament and the new testament. Start with Genesis 1 and Matthew 1 and work your way through.

I think the style should be like Stan Lee - bold and colourful. I think it could work if someone does the backgrounds, someone else does the figures and someone else the colouring. Special attention will be given to wow effects like where Jesus starts to glow when Elijah and Moses are with Him on the mountain. It must look exciting and still be the Word of God.

I believe the Bible is the Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth. But lots of people have to go to their Pastor/Priest/etc to have certain verses and words explained to them. It is good to ask your minister about the Word of God, but if it could have been explained in the Bible already in normal English it would help so much more. The translation in the Comic Bible Project would be a relatively simple process: It would be based on the King James - which I believe to be the best translation ever as other translations leave out important verses. I would replace the thee's and thou's in the KJV with normal English. Then replace all Christianese and Greek/Hebrew words with the literal meanings - this would make the Bible a whole lot more understandable and self-explanatory. Jesus said we should be like children - but some of the words and terms used in the Bible need to be explained before a child can know what it means. If everything is in everyday words it becomes self explanatory.
