My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

I've always been a creative person and was always wired to intersect that with causes for justice and social awareness. But growing up, I always sensed there was a need for more, for something to bring it all together. Now I look back, and even with what I resort to as an adult, I know I'm a spiritual Berean. I'm ready to embrace so much with a readiness of mind, but I'm quick to want to understand things on the heart level. It took me half my life to realize that includes knowing Jesus. Junior year of high school, shortly after following a girl I had a crush on into a lunch time bible study, I accepted Jesus into my heart and I know He's the fullness from which I fight and write. He's the true substance from which I petition for the affairs and ministries of my life. So that's what I feel called to: showing people that God can indeed inform one's craft, and no matter how esoteric a detail or a school of thinking is, you're not so far gone intellectually that the Cross can't impact your life and guide your path.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

Facilitate an arts collective space, like one of those hip, new co-working offices. We'd be a small group, working on our own projects, but we'd work under a banner - from which we'd put out quarterly anthologies and one to two serial titles.
