I was saved at the age of 5 when I asked my mom to pray with me to accept jesus. Since then I've done my best to walk the path Jesus has set before me. I began dreaming of being a cartoonist in the third grade and started to create my own characters and mini Christian comics.
Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
With God's help and direction I am actually living my dream job. I am able to work full time as a freelance artist and currently have some new Christian comics that i hope to have out very soon.

Larry Hama, Jim Lee, Todd McFarlane, John Byne, Scott McDaniel, Chris Bachalo, Frank Miller, Brian Bendis, and many others.

"Glitter pens is a nice choice. I did a mixed media piece that included glitter pens and it gave it a cool touch. The only prob I have right now is getting it to scan in the right way to really showcase the effect."

Hey Gary...I actually do remember the trinity Troopers....they kinda had Power Ranger styled costumes, right??? :) Years back (before life got really hectic and crazy) I was compiling info on Christian Comics with the hopes of one day putting out a definitive guide (coffee-table book style) of Christian Comics and I remember that was on my list. Good to hear from you and looking forward to connecting with new friends and hearing from old ones! :)

It's great to hear you are saved and you're doing your dream job. I would like to see your comics. My wife and I did a comic a few years ago titled "Trinity Troopers". Maybe you might find it online. It has a colorful cover with four young kids as superheroes flying on the cover. I did the pencils, my wife did the writing, some friends did the inking, lettering and painted the cover. It was a cool package. I hope to do more one day but at least I did the one.
I like a lot of artists and writers too. i pay attention to how they write comics since I'm doing my own. I met Scott McDaniel and he's a great man. Easy to talk with and very accommodating. He will spend time talking with you and that's what i liked about him. he's a Christian too so that made him even more cool. Have a great time here. Later.
