I would love to hear your feedback on a question I was asked recently: If Superman were to be created today, what powers would he have? The person asking the question said he thought the main powers (strength, speed, invulnerability, flight) would remain the same, but what other powers would he have or not have? Any thoughts?

Thanks to both of you. I had the idea of having him manipulate energy fields, sort of like the new incarnation of Superboy, which would give him abilities with high technology, such as manipulating computers. Any thoughts?
Most of the newer superheroes, in my limited experience, are team players; either they're the leader of a team or they have super peers, but Superman was originally a one man show as demonstrated by his name. So ironically he would probably be created today with a different name, and as an antihero loner if the creator wanted to keep him as an independent operator.
Heat vision would be out, flight would remain as a power because flying through the air with a cape billowing behind you is just so cool. Many of his other powers would remain the same because they're visually dramatic; however if I was to dream up a new power for him, it would be the ability to gather and harness sunlight into photon beams.
