I know I posted a discussion about this when I first joined, but when would be the best time in the series for Dalton to find out Brianna's secret? I have to keep in mind that Brianna is a private investigator for Dalton's law firm and he will likely suspect something unusual is going on pretty early on in the series. I do want there to be some time in the series before Dalton finds out. Any advice?

My opinion is that you delay it as long as you can. That situation makes for great tension between Dalton and Brianna. Dalton is suspicious, but glad that Brianna is so good at her job. Brianna is worried about revealing her powers, but maybe she also wishes she had someone to talk to. It is hard keeping secrets from people and that conflict makes stories more interesting.
As always, let the big reveal serve the larger purpose of the story as a whole.
