  • Leo...in regards to your questions....

-All I included in here was the website address. It was designed to be used anywhere on the web to drive people to find out more about the series in general and this book specifically. Once they go there they are directed where they can order.

-yes, the series continues to do well and in fact I'm already stacking up pre-orders on the Slipcase Collection which doesn't release yet for about three weeks and in regards to the trailer...two years after first posting it, it's still doing it's job.

-re: "how did I advertise it?" You've got to understand, that the first book in the series (A Fictional Tale of Absolute truth) released in 2004, so over the past 7 years or so I've employed a lot of marketing and advertising options, (including: Ads in Mags (both Christian & secular), online ads, email marketing campaigns, banner ads, link exchanges, postcards mailed out to retails (both Christian and comic store owners), mailing samples to media and ministry, lots of interviews on the net, radio and TV...and much, much more). But as well as paying for stuff, a lot of what I do is guerrilla marketing 101...in other words stuff that I can do, call or mailout (to save dollars).

-As far as trimming down the score, there always that slow fade to silence?
  • lemme know when you are done i wouldl ike to see it. i used photoshop and windows movie maker to do mine.
  • haw haw the score is from avatar!!!

  • Leo...that is very good. I especially liked the basic animation you added...really makes the graphics pop! (might want to think about trimming it down just a bit...3 minutes seems a bit long).

Here's what I put together two years back for my Eye Witness: Rise of the Apostle graphic novel....drew a few thousand people to view my work, that might not have heard of it otherwise in places like FB, Youtube, etc....

  • I knew there was some reason for those chickens!! I really enjoyed it, and the choice of music. What program did you use, and where did you get the score from? I'm thoroughly enjoying your work and plan to create a trailer for my own comic. Thanks for posting!
