"The Dave Roever Story" is a comics tract beautifully drawn by Kerry Gammill (pencils) and Carlos Garzon (inks), but the real star of the show is Roever's testimony itself. He was horribly changed in a terrible incident in Viet Nam, and also wonderfully changed by the hand of God. His story is heartbreakingly beautiful. Many years ago I saw a film about him called "Scars that Heal," and the title says it all.
