...AND THINKING.

Joe Sinnot - inker on Kirby talks about his drawing board: http://vimeo.com/14453541

Flip through the videos and pick and choose what's of interest. Steve Rude flips through a sketchbook, Joe Kubert talks process, an excellent interview and showing of process of a cover with Simon Forth, an Illustrator for 2000 A.D.

Some of you younger folks might be: WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? They're old. They're boring...well - if some of these people weren't alive, comics as you know them wouldn't exist.

Whatever you do DO NOT WRITE THEM OFF. They have a wealth of information, and experience - and the insights that they give in these videos - even though at times it might be something brief and refers to something in their history you may know nothing about - their information is important, and can inform how one might consider approaching comic creation.

For somebody more young and hip: Inking a Chew Pinup with Mike Furth

So go click around some of the other videos and see the process, and the history of comic creation - captured for your edification.
