When you say "old West," you mean mid- to late-1800s and in such states as California, Arizona, New Mexico, etc.?

Oy Vey. Finding info about the old west in and of itself isn't too difficult - the traveling preacher part may be. Though do your google hunt and see what pops up - you might be surprised.
