CHRISTIAN COMIC ARTS SOCIETY :: A NETWORK OF CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP FOR COMICS FANS, PROS, AND AMATEURS
I would love it if in peoples profiles there was an obvious link that shows where their website is. Right now, I am finding links somehow, but I have to go digging and find them more by mistake than actually knowing where their website is.

It would be nice if I hit a persons' profile and could see "www.mywebsitehere.com" under their picture or at the top of their "personal page".

This would be a fantastic help, allowing us to link and see people's portfolio's, if they have any products for sale, or find help when when looking for like-minded folks for collaboration or a potential hire.

Is this at all possible? Thanks.

Martin

Yep - I kind of figured it out after the fact. Still would be nice to have the url to the website a little more obvious.
  • The interface is OOP... object oriented programming principles... or... facebook... you can drag any section to another area on your profile page. Sometimes it may be in the bottom or top... depending on where the person dragged it.

Found the link area for artists on their profile pages - it's on the lower part of the profile pages. Yerk.

It would be nice if it was more obvious and higher up on the pages. Apologies for wasting space.

  • Hi Brian,

    My website is:

    http://www.ihorace.com

As per privacy - If there was an option that said: Display website: Yes or no - that would alleviate the issue I would think. Currently there is a privacy option that allows you to display info or not to display info in our personal control panels. Having a website display option would be a nice to have.

  • The group is made through Ning, not a private code project. What is possible through Ning is our limitations. The other issue is the general privacy consciousness or reclusiveness that is present with many artists here and other places.
