Hey everyone. I'm new here (of course), and I'm a fan of manga. Ever since I was a kid, I grew up with Hong Kong action cinema, Dragonball, and reading manga; it gave me the desire to write manga professionally, and I never took being a writer seriously until I was thirteen, when the bullying started relentlessly. So I vented through my writing. My faith never wavered, as I grew to be a talented writer, so I figure God has a purpose for me with this ability.
The current project I'm working on is called "Glaive of the Lions," a saga inspired by "Hamlet" and "The Lion King." It revolves around Ashu, a young boy from the village of Mirad who awakens one day to find it destroyed and his arm consumed by a malevolent force: a demon known as Kaiset. A voice strewn from the heavens speaks to Ashu, granting him the ability to fight and charges him with a quest: locate the ancient weapon known as the “Lion's Glaive”, which is capable of killing holy beings, and in exchange it'll cure him of his affliction, which will begin to slowly poison him after a month’s time.
I pray soon I'm able to get artwork for the main character soon; I don't have a good base of support that'll help me.

Thank you!
