I know I already posted another discussion about this, but I've noticed my series is similar to the short-lived 1983 series "Manimal" in that they both have protagonists that have the power to turn into animals and use their ability to fight crime. Keep in mind I came up with the idea for the series in junior high, long before I'd seen "Manimal." One way my series will be different is that the main character's powers will have a scientific explanation. Ay more advice?

I wouldn't worry about the similarities between your protagonist and " Manimal's ". The amount of times people get the same idea is very high, and many people have had main characters that have the ability you're talking about. No one owns the rights to that, so be encouraged and God Bless!
