I'm trying to decide how many cases to write in my mystery manga. I have several ideas for cases, but how many is a good amount? Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

Thanks! The story takes place around a period of about two years. The entire case will be broken up into 2-3 chapters. The cases won't be tied together (except for the last three), but there will be a linear story of the main character Brianna and her love interest Dalton and watching Brianna slowly gain control of her powers and grow in her faith.

My thought is that it would depend on what kind of story you want to tell. If you'd like the story to be one more heavily dependent on having quickly changing events, then maybe you'd include more cases for the characters to be involved in than if you wanted to write a slower paced story that focuses on one big grand case for them to tackle over time. I'd recommend thinking about what your objectives are and then making a choice from there!
