Help Free Gao Zhisheng

Hey everyone, just found this interesting thing on the internet. There's a apparently a Christian human rights attorney, Gao Zhisheng, who was last seen being taken away by a dozen police officers. Gao Zhisheng has been repeatedly kidnapped, arrested, imprisoned and tortured by Chinese authorities, because he has defended the persecuted and has been an unyielding voice for justice in the Chinese courts. There's a petition over on this website, www.freegao.com, to help free this innocent man. If you find the calling in your heart, head over to the site and watch the short video about his persucution from the Chinese government, and add your name to the petition to help free him. It takes very little time, and the cause is good. Check it out, and spread the word.Peace and love,Baron

  • Alright... I've been praying about this.  The present news is this. Gao Zhisheng was free from prison in an uncommon manner.  As recent as 2010 Gao Zhisheng was brutally beaten for several hours by authorities.  Gao Zhisheng's wife has fled to America to escape persecution.  Gao Zhisheng has a tendency to disappear for months at a time, so it is unknown if this present disappearance is for healing or if he's passed away.

    I'll keep praying.

  • The Voice of the Martyrs ministry prisoner alert will help anyone that wishes to bookmark it, the ability to pray by name for these prisoners for God. ( http://www.prisoneralert.com/ )
  • I'll be praying for him. I'll add my name to that petition as well.
  • Nice to hear. It seems to me like no one cares... Which is sad.

I first heard about him at Impromptus, here.

    It is reader-friendly.

Horrible stuff done to the poor guy.

Sure, sign the petition (it's easy, and email updates are optional). I did.

Let the bad guys know we are watching them.
