Heaven Forbid! to be solicited by Antarctic Press...

Hey everybody-I'm working out getting my book (of web comics, you can find at www.crazygoodcomics.com) solicited by Antarctic Press (a non-Christian indie comics company- actually some of the first people to do manga styled comics in the US) and I want to get as much support from the Christian comics community as I can. I guess, basically, if enough orders come from comic stores and major chains (borders, amazon, etc.) then i'll be set for publication. The series itself is primarily a humor comic about Christians. Some of it is humor about churchy stuff, some is talking about Christian themes in a humorous way (theology for everybody!), and some presents themes like forgiveness, using comedy. It's completely all age appropriate, but definitely has an appeal for children, teens, and adults.Craig Boldman, writer of the Archie Daily Newspaper strip and monthly Jughead comic book has said, "A happy surprise… It's a good, entertaining story, told through a seriesof gags... You have to be able to juggle a few balls to be able to tell a storythis way, and you seem to have the knack... one of the itemsthat I was glad I brought home from [San Diego Comic Con].”Kevin Eastman, co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has said, "This is great! This is amazing enough that you actually did it."Jim Mahfood, who's done comics for Clerks, Spider-Man, his own "Stupid Comics" and many more, said simply, "It's awesome."Now keep in mind that this is not a done deal- and i'm sure this is a gamble for them since it is their first forray into Christian comics. If i don't get the orders, then i'll just self publish some copies, which i'm cool with- but if i could get it out there to a broader audience, that would be great!I'll have updates on when it'll be in diamond previews and solicited- if anyone wants to get their local store to order it. But in the mean time, if you'd like to read my webcomic (again www.crazygoodcomics.com ) pass it around to your friends, or if anyone has any ideas about promotion into Christian venues and stores, i'd love to hear from you. Thanks so much, and honestly, if you would like to keep this in your prayers, it would be great!
