  • hehehe....so aaron if i want make manga.its better i write down the story or make story board from right to left? i do make story board for comercial break when in collage for 3 minutes duration.how about story board in manga?

  • You're right. I think most publishers want all their manga publications to flow from right to left.

Once, I did have a doujinshi where most of the comics in it flowed from left to right. I guess whoever did that was trying to challenge themselves :)

By the way, you're cool! :D

    God bless! :)

  • hehe...when i was high schl i study few of nihon go(japaness languages).i must write kanji from top to down and right to leftt.....in indonesia, manga comic (from japan ilustator) common flow from left to right, but if import from japan it orginally from right to left.well its so fun read with new direction, isnt? so when we want to make manga for japanese reader we must do that right to left direction or its job of publishers to change?

  • hey, vika :)

Japanese comics flow from right to left.

What's interesting is that when they write from top to bottom, they start with vertical colums on the right, then start new colums to the left.

When they write sideways like us, they write from left to right... That's something they started doing 70 years ago. Before that time, even their sideways writing was from right to left. I don't know what made them switch.

    :)
