The Gideon Conference is for writers, film makers, musicians, and artists . . . and I know if you're reading this you fall into one of those categories . . .
It is a chance to find education about your craft, inspiration for your faith, and encouragement as you merge the two. Last year, I found the conference to be an edifying and recharging experience.
This year, as with last year, I will be working with Ken Raney and Mike Maihack to present some workshops about creating comics and working as a comic professional. In addition to that, the conference is a film festival (some truly unique Christian films, including a Lego version of the story of Jericho and the first truly Christian-themed horror/thriller I've ever seen, were screened last year) and also has workshops about writing, music, movie making, and marketing.
If you want to find yourself challenged in your Christian walk and art, and encouraged as you pursue excellence in artistry and faith, and want a chance to network with other like-minded individuals, I highly recommend the conference.
