While this 1979 backup story for a Batman title has no inspirational value, it is interesting to see the (skewed) perception of a street evangelist that scripter Denny O'Neil (a former Catholic - I know him personally) has. ASTRO CITY had some similar 'bothersome' street evangelists in it about 15 years ago. Yes, there are crackpots out there, and then there are people like Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron who are thoughtful, respectful, and courteous---not to mention successful in winning many to Christ.
I was a bit surprised to see this subject matter in a secular comic of that era.
