DAN RED EAGLE comics

This link is to an old site which has the first two issues of DAN RED EAGLE, a Christian comic aimed at a native American audience (and for children) fully readable online. Issue two was drawn by Bruce Bezaire, a former writer for Warren (CREEPY, EERIE, & VAMPIRELLA) back in the '70s until he was stricken with brain cancer and subsequently saved and healed. As a born again Christian, he hasn't looked back on his secular comics career (as a writer), but works as a university professor of art and also paints in a very photo-realistic fashion.

Bruce drew a few more issues in black-and-white, but these are the only two I've seen online. Enjoy (while you can)!

I have the Soul Catcher one - he manages to capture the great outdoors of either Northern Canada, or Alaska. There's also some informative/instructional comics as to how natives go fishing with a spear and how to cook/prep a fish. (Actually my favorite parts of the book).

As functional books go, they work.
