Considering deactivating my account.

I'm seriously considering deactivating both this account and my PW account. I am so sick of all the drama I get on both sites! I posted a discussion hoping for advice and all I get is one huge argument! I'm not naming names, but I've just about had it with the people arguing! Why would God allow this! I'm crying right as I type this! GOODBYE!

  • You're welcome.

    Bye.

  • Thank you! I decided just to take a break but I'm back now. Happy Easter! He is risen!

As soon as I realized the discussion had become too vigorous, I left it. I apologize for any pain caused to KG, as that was not my intention. At this point, I am taking an extended leave from CCAS and will no longer be taking part in any discussions on this board in order to prevent this from occurring again.

  • Whew!  Okay, I think I found the argument, and I can see your point.  It was a bit of a vigorous discussion and I can see it kind of hitting a bit hard.  All I can say is that the subject is a debatable one, and folks can have a very emotional response to it.  It is a hard topic to pin down a definite answer to, since there are so many variables to the motives a writer or artist can have for (I'm assuming this was the subject) the use of blood and gore in a work.  Still, I think a person's feelings shouldn't be run over in the heat of discussion and that doesn't give the positive atmosphere I know they are trying to provide on this site.  I'm sorry this happened to you, and as a member of CCAS, I apologize for the emotional pain you felt.

  • Oh my!  Sorry for whatever happened.  I didn't see any argument, so I don't know anything about this.  I know what it's like to come under fire on the 'net, so I definitely feel for you.  I would help if I could.

  • KG, You're doing fine.

You asked some good questions, and you got some interested...and interesting responses.  We all have styles for expressing our love of God and our love of truth, which you also love.

If the tension stresses you, that's understandable; its ok to abandon the question and walk off to another part of the site.

You had some good writing ideas, work them up and post some examples.
