It's been awhile since I've been on here! (Mostly because I forgot my password, lol). I was wanting some advice. I have a story idea that I'm really believing in God that I can get off the ground and turn into a full fledged short graphic novel series. I'm already halfway through writing the story and I've started the concept art, but I was wondering if I could get some tips on the publication part of it. What are the different things you need to produce a comic, and does anyone know of any notable comic publications? Just anything I need to prepare me for what is to come, that would be great! :)
Thanks!

Hey A'Shaela,,
Nice artwork by the way! Congrats on getting your comic off the ground. If my website can be of any help with regards to your questions, then great.
(1) Almost a year ago I recorded a podcast recapping all of the steps involved in creating my first comic. You may find it useful:

(2) I also interview Christian comic creators, so in terms of other tips as well as published comics, check out some of them:

(3) You can also check out my links on the bottom right of the blog. Like the interviews, the links contain a wide range of comics, from webcomics to major physical and digital publishers.
(4) Lastly, this website has been a huge resource for me, and is primarily focused on helping creators create better comics. They have many useful columns, but suggest checking out Bolts and Nuts first as the topics pertain to your question:

I also suggest you spend some time looking through all of their columns though, as there's a ton of useful information.
If there's any other way I can help, feel free to e-mail me (rsquaredcomicz@gmail.com). Have a blessed one, and God's grace in putting your comic together!
