I have a proposal for some collaborations with a writer and artist to help me with some future Johnny B. Goode stories.
NO PAY I DO WEB COMICS FOR FREE, I DON'T SELL THEM BUT ANYONE WHO CONTRIBUTED OR HELPED IN THE MAKING OF THE COMICS WILL RECEIVE FULL RECOGNITION FOR THE FULL AMOUNT OF WORK THEY PUT INTO THEM. IF YOU HAVE IDEAS ON HOW TO PROMOTE OR SELL THEM I'D LOVE TO HEAR THEM BUT MY GOAL IS TO PRODUCE ALL-AGES CHRIST HONORING WEB COMICS THAT ARE ENJOYABLE AND ALSO TEACH AND INSTRUCT IF POSSIBLE. ANY CHARACTERS OR CONCEPTS YOU CREATE WITHIN MY COMIC UNIVERSE CAN BE SPUN OFF INTO OTHER COMICS AND PROJECTS NOT INVOLVING ME, YOU CAN EVEN USE MY CHARACTERS IF YOU WANT BUT I WOULD ASK THAT YOU KEEP THEM IN THE 50S UNIVERSE UNLESS A LOGICAL EXPLANATION FOR DISPLACING THEM IS POSSIBLE.
I couldn't post this in the Collaborations forum for some reason, I have more details but would like to post them there. I have to sleep now but will be up later today to see if that's possible.

Really? I think I would have responded this way if I had never met them. We haven't talked too much about theology and I know those are my own honest thoughts up there. I think I might be one of these Abominable Christians myself. If judging by what I wrote you think I'm somehow brainwashed into some cultish version of Christianity. I stand by what I wrote and would have wrote that 10 yrs ago to a response like you gave. Maybe you should stick to offering comic related advice in this thread. Please don't turn this thread into something negative.

Just know who you're dealing with is all i'm saying, and no i don't think i'm better than anyone, i just don't recommend people to do what they've recommended people to do.

Your words here aren't very edifying Brother, it sounds as if you might think you are a better Christian than someone else, I've met many and they all have faults. We all are rotten, depraved and worthy of Hell, if not for God's mercy go I. Examine your own heart and don't be too harsh.

Since I wrote this I have become part of a shared universe project. Thanks to this site I have met a bunch of guys who want to do comic including my Characters from The Shock Squad and Johnny B. Goode! I haven't been in the regular forums lately but have been corresponding with these guys on the Shared Comic. I am still working on my own solo comics with Johnny B. and S.S. on the side but they are on the back burner until this project gets some steam.
I'm really excited about this we have some great ideas and I think the comic will be fun and Glorifying to God. I would still like some input and help when I do my own projects or constructive criticism to guide me to better storytelling. Thanks to those of you who Messaged me who were interested in helping me. I appreciate it and I will still need some later on.

I had a burst of creativity the other night with my story and I have the whole thing plotted out. I think I have a pretty good story, I was wondering if any writers out there would be wiling to read it and critique it before I start drawing. I worked Marvel Style on the last one, Pictures first and then story. Anyway let me know, I'll try to have it banged out by sunday.

Anyway I'll try to have a design up this weekend since I'm off work.
Please join us with the shared universe project Christopher! Right now everyone is contributing trying to create the framework for the individual stories. We are considering a basic story where a young actor in the present day is hired to play the role of a famous Golden Age hero from a past generation. Through flashbacks and as the story progresses, he will learn Biblical truths and hear great stories of adventure from the time of the hero he is trying to understand, and from those who knew him, and those who come after. I think your talents, skills, and knowledge would be a great contribution to this project! And we are thinking that this will be an 'alternative universe', so as not to interfere or disrupt the various series that the characters come from. Could be very fun to tweak your favorite creations for the project!
