CODEX: n.1. a quire of manuscript pages held together by stitching: the earliest form of book, replacing the scrolls and wax tablets of earlier times.2. a manuscript volume, usually of an ancient classic or the Scriptures.3. Archaic. a code; book of statutes.CODEX is a new comic from Community Comics. It will be taking the place of Chosen Mortals, so in that regard it's not truly new. These self-contained short stories will be put online for free on the WebComics.CC website, and will be made available for sale on mobile devices and e-readers (to bring in some profits for the creative team). Starting with The Thieves, we hope to present many more stories (including the long overdue completion of Absalom's Revenge, if we can find someone to take the reigns from Sherwin Schwartzrock).More as it develops . . .~ Ben
