Hi everyone,
I work for a charity which supports an evangelist in the UK and we're hosting a large evangelistic event on 8th July and we're hoping for 45,000 people to attend (half Christian to bring a non-Christian).
One of the things we're looking for is a comic book for the children to read, telling them some stories of Jesus. Does anyone here have anything like that or know of anything around that I can get some samples of?
If you're able and want to send me anything, please send to:
Philo Trust, Witton House, Lower Road, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, WD3 5LB, UK
Thanks and God bless,
Matt

Good stuff Brien as usual
Hi Matt,
I see you're representing J Johns, evangelist, and his organization: Philo Trust, which has been conducting evangelical events in Europe and the UK for several decades. Several things immediately come to my mind:
1) Send an email to our extremely knowledgeable Organization leader, Ralph Miley (http://www.christiancomicarts.com/profiles/message/newFromProfile?s... )
2) Using comics in outreach is brilliant, but not just for 6-11 year olds. A quick sampling of our gallery shows a wide range of playful young characters (Penguin & Peep by Monica Bruenjes https://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/3448617931?profile=original Christian Superheros (Captain Sun https://itscaptainsun.com by Bryce Morgan).
You specifically asked about stories about Jesus, but that still leaves a wide range of artists and styles. For example Steampunk style by Mel Todd (http://www.weaponpress.com/AJESUSTRANSLATED.html) , Beautifully authentic Gospel stories by Tazia Hall ( http://taziahall.wixsite.com/risenart ) Manga style by Eric Shin and Green Egg Media (https://greeneggmediagroup.com/product/powerbiblenewtestamentset/ )
