CHRISTIAN COMIC ARTS SOCIETY :: A NETWORK OF CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP FOR COMICS FANS, PROS, AND AMATEURS

Christian Comic Art Society?!?

Is it not the case that the Christian Comic Art Society's NING network actually has the option available to view artwork people upload here? Why are profiles and artwork excluded from view until one becomes a member? I noticed that one could FACEBOOK/TWITTER/etc SHARE someone's stuff so more people could see, but because this NING hides its content, we can only share the society itself. Seems like this network would be more beneficial to its members and our goals if the privacy settings (assume such settings existed) were a little more open.

Just thought I'd suggest that.

i personally like that it is a private group. if people want to join and see things, they can. and if people want to promote their stuff for the world, they can do that, too.

especially since people put work in progress for critique. i can understand putting some unfinished things here that you wouldn't want to publish online as complete. also, i might not want a critique of my work in progress available to any casual viewer. anyone can join, but at least then we know they probably have an investment in the this site.

Daniel, I didn't consider that. Good point.
