Buzz, for whatever reason you seem like someone people respect here, and you have some notoreity.
You should start creating a stir in this little community by proffering a challenge for next month. The way to build community, even a Christian Comic Art Society, is by encouraging interaction and by putting on little events everyone can participate in. Everyone just comes on here and posts their own personal crap, and that's not what a society is about, and I think everyone is sick and tired of it. SICK AND TIRED, Buzz! We have not had a challenge suggested by anyone since January, and I am in a competitive mood, and there are dozens of people who visit this site who I suspect are craving community and competition, and doing something for a common purpose.
If you offer a simple challenge that won't freak out the amateurs, and can even push the experts, then I assure you the members of CCAS will be more cohesive and everyone will be more sociable. If you create a challenge, they will come.

Now I have been out for a while, and the last time I was here I did a comic jam. This looks like something new and exciting.
Hmmm....Interesting.
I have no idea what you are talking you crazy man.
All righty Sven,
You have pushed the envelope - and we launch tonight. CCAS Webcomics Extravaganza starts in a post between now and midnight. I've been sitting on it for over a month - shepherded by Elgin Bolling and myself, approved by the board. I just need to whip up the "character templates".
Type you soon. Keep eyes peeled folks.
