It looks I’ll be signing a deal to have my comic, AN ACT OF FAITH, be available for sale as a downloadable digital comic. Initially, I was thinking about having it available as a 100-page (self-contained) graphic novel, and having a new book come out on a yearly basis. But, now, I’m thinking about maybe having AN ACT OF FAITH be available as a bi-monthly 24-page (or so) digital comic. What do you guys think? Would you be more inclined to read a digital comic as a serialized bi-monthly comic, or as a larger (and self-contained) graphic novel?

  • Congratulations on the deal.  May the Lord continue to bless your endeavors as you honor Him.  I personally like the self-contained graphic novel.  I'm old-school and I like something that I can put in the book shelf.

  • In today's market I'd say a graphic novel is the way to go (in print, that is).

  • Thanks for your advice, Gerard. I got a lotta thinking and praying to do.

  • Hi Al,

Speaking for myself, I really prefer self contained Graphic Novels. I'm willing to pay a little extra in advance for the peace of mind that I'm going to get a whole story:) Good luck and God bless 'An Act of Faith'!
