  • None of the stories are really doing much for me so I just pick up books for the artwork. Greg Capullo is doing killer work on Batman, always worth a look.  Jim Lee never fails to entertain so I've also checked out the Justice League.  I also read Teen Titans because artist Brett Booth is a close friend.  OMAC was fantastic but got cancelled way too soon.

  • I haven't been too impressed with most of them, with the exception of some of the Batman and Green Lantern titles, but even those I haven't followed consistently because I was just so disappointed with the reboot as a whole. However, when all the #1 issues first came out about a year ago, I wrote reviews of several of them on my CCAS blog on this site. I'd recommend you check out those reviews on my page for a more thorough review of some of the major characters and titles.

  • This new DC reboot is horrible.....Why they gave Superman blue jeans, killed off the Kents and pretty much made him alone in the world is beyond me.....I will say I did enjoy the BATMAN TITLES Called "NIGHT OF THE OWL'S" WHICH CROSSED OVER INTO ALL of the BATMAN TITLES.

DID NOT LIKE DAMIEN WAYNE....10 YEAR OLD ROBIN WITH AN APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION, his arrogance, his willingness to kill and BRUCE"S willingness to overlook this in his son. AND HAS TAKEN THE LIFE of an Old foe of his father's.

The entire reboot of SHAZAM no more Cpt. Marvel. The disrespect openly by these new writers of THE BIBLE and the blatant use of shoving homosexuality into the faces of the readers. Green Lantern of Earth 2 is now gay. These new writers are thumbing their noses at Christian readers to openly promote perversion in their books.

The DC i once knew and loved is GONE RIP

  • Im with you Martin...not a single one was unique enough for me to actually buy.  Looked over all of them and just wasnt motivated to really get any. I'm sticking to my old tried-and-true monthly reads...G.I. Joe and Star Wars.  ;)  McDaniel is a great artist.  I own his entire run on Batman and love it.  Glad to see his style on Static Chock has progressed and he has grown more as an artist.
  • I finally got to the store and looked at the New 52...and not one book piqued my interest. Not. One. I had trouble looking at them - it was as if whatever was on the pages wasn't even registering. Odd. Perhaps God is directing me elsewhere.

I did pick up Static Shock - McDaniel still has his drawing chops, which happens to be the best part of the book.

  • The only title that sort of interests me is Static Shock - since it's being done by Scott McDaniel and I love his art (it just so happens he's a believer).

[A side note and slightly off-topic: Some of the books might have fantastic art, but I've been finding DC (and Marvel) books just so "ugly". And for some odd reason, the colors pinkish-purple, green and brown figure prominently into their books - making the books kind of mud like. For the most part, what I've seen of the Reboot books has left me cold. Though Wonder Woman kind of has neat art.]

I still haven't picked up Static Shock - but the previews look awesome. Scott McDaniel is one of the few artists who has mastered perspective and is able to actually use it to make a story visually exciting.
