My two cousins (ages 9 and 12) are starting to get into nerd culture and I’ve been looking for some good anime recommendations for them. They both like Star Wars and The Hunger Games. The older one really likes fantasy stories (not sure which ones except for Descendants). The younger one likes Minecraft (though he wants to see the movie “The Matrix). Beyond that I’m not sure what they’d like. I know they’re allowed to watch some PG-13 rated movies, but I’m not sure which ones. What do you guys recommend?

I don't know of that many off the top of my head, but check the site Common Sense Media. They do lots of reviews of shows.
